Overview

IBP Union is the student organization for International Business & Politics at Copenhagen Business School (CBS). They needed a unified digital platform to replace a fragmented set of tools -- separate systems for events, notes, career postings, and book trading that required students to juggle multiple logins and interfaces.

Twin Current built ibpunion.dk as a single, cohesive platform that serves the entire student lifecycle: from first-year course notes to alumni career networking. The platform centralizes six core functions that previously lived across disconnected tools and spreadsheets.

The Challenge

Multiple disconnected tools for events, notes, career resources, and book trading
No centralized student directory or alumni networking capability
Manual processes for event management and RSVP tracking
Course materials scattered across email chains, Google Drives, and Facebook groups
New board members each year needed a system that required minimal handover training

The Solution

A unified platform built around six core modules, each addressing a specific need of the IBP student community.

Event Management

Central event calendar with RSVP tracking, automated reminders, and attendance management for union and student activities.

Note Bank

Shared repository of course notes and study materials organized by semester, course, and professor. Students contribute and access collectively.

Career Hub

Job postings, internship listings, and career resources curated for IBP students. Direct connections between students and employers.

Book Marketplace

Peer-to-peer textbook trading within the IBP community. Students list, browse, and negotiate book sales directly on the platform.

Alumni Networking

Directory connecting current students with IBP alumni across industries. Mentoring, networking events, and career guidance.

Community Hub

Central information point for the IBP Union. News, announcements, committee updates, and community discussions in one place.
